粤油45是以粤油7号、粤油14和台南12等优良品种资源为亲本经复合杂交选育而成的高产多抗花生新品种，经国家区域试验和生产示范、抗病性鉴定，该品种高抗锈病、叶斑病和青枯病，适宜华南花生产区水田及旱地轮作种植，栽培上注意适期早播、施足基肥，及时除虫和保障水分等。该品种2010年3月通过国家花生品种鉴定委员会鉴定，2010年5月通过广东省农作物品种审定。
Yueyou 45, developed by Crops Research Institute/GAAS, was derived from a multicross of yueyou 7 × (Yueyou14 × Tainan12)F5. The variety gave the averaged 4 234.5 kg/hm2 and out yielded 6.54% than the control cultivar Shanyou 523 respectively in National New Groundnut Variety Trail during 2007-2008. Yueyou 45 possessed high resistance to bacterial wilt. It was released by National Peanut Variety Approval Committee in 2010. Its cultivation technologies would be including sowing earlier, additional application fertilizers and preventing drought.
