汕油851是广东省汕头市农科所以"粤油193"为母本、"辐选3号"为父本进行有性杂交而育成的珍珠豆型花生新品种。经全国（南方区）花生品种区域试验和生产试验鉴定，该品种具有丰产性好、品质优良、高抗青枯病、锈病和叶斑病、适应性广等特点。2009年6月通过全国花生品种鉴定委员会鉴定，适合在广东、广西东部、海南、江西、湖南、云南的花生适宜区种植。
Shanyou 851 was bred by Shantou Agricultural Science Research Institute. It was derived from a multicross of Yueyou 193 and Fuxuan No.3. It showed the excellent characteristics of higher pod yield, good quality, hig h resistance to bacterial wilt, rust and leaf spot, wide adaptability and so on. It was certificated and released by National Identification Committee of Peanut Variety in 2009. Shanyou 851 can be planted in suitable districts for peanut production of Guangdong, Eastern Guangxi, Hainan, Jiangxi, Hunan and Yunnan.
