花生新品种皖花7号是安徽省农业科学院作物研究所以豫花8号为母本、96-3为父本进行有性杂交系选而成。在2013—2015年连续3年长江流域片区试中，表现出直立、结荚数多、高油、中抗叶斑病、产量潜力大、适应性广等优点，并于2016年通过国家花生品种鉴定。该文介绍了皖花7号的产量表现、特征特性，并提出了其栽培技术要点。
With Yuhua No. 8 as the female parent and 96-3 as the male parent, the new peanut variety Wanhua No.7 was bred by the Crop Research Institute of Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences which used pedigree breeding method. It showed many advantages in consecutive years of regional trials of the Yangtze River Basin From 2013 to 2015,such as erect, a large number of pods, high oil content, middle resistance to leaf spot disease, large yield potential, and wide adaptability. And it passed the national peanut variety appraisal in 2016. This study mainly introduced the yield performance and characteristics of Wanhua No.7, and put forward the key points of cultivation techniques.
