潍花8号是潍坊市农科院以“高产、优质、多抗、广适”为育种目标，以(79266/莱农13号)F1与莱农13号回交选育而成。该品种植株综合性状好，抗旱性强，适应范围广，耐储性强，口味佳，符合食品加工和大花生出口要求。在山东省和全国区试中，籽仁分别比鲁花11号增产14.41%和11.13%，高产示范单产达9015 kg/hm2，2003年通过山东省审定，2004年通过国家鉴定。

Its seed yield was 14.41 and 11.13 percent higher than that of Luhua 11. in the district experiments of shandong and the state. Its high yield in demonstration was 9015kg/hm2. It was examined by Shandong province in 2003 and passed the examination by the state in 2004.
